Lake Effect is the exquisite smooth jazz band co-created by Neil Artwick
and Robert Davis. Elegant compositions with attention to melodic detail, and compelling
liquid grooves are trademarks of the Lake Effect sound. Robert and Neil's writing partnership
has been growing and developing over the last ten years, through a variety of project,
and their latest CD, "An Ocean Away" showcases their unique sound. Fourteen different songs
with tastes of latin, funk, jazz, and r+b, all hang together with the common thread being Neil
and Robert's distinctive writing style. In the studio and on stage, Lake Effect brings
some of the most exciting rhythm sections and soloists into the picture, complementing
